We are seeking an experienced, creative, and growth-oriented Head of Marketing to join and lead our marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to make an important contribution to our company’s future. 


The Head of Marketing owns the strategy and execution of growth marketing at Currenxie. This role requires the ability to see the big picture with clarity in combination with hands on, day to day operational management. You will be a leader, manager and mentor, ensuring that your teammates have the tools they need to succeed. 


You will be responsible for annual growth targets, budgets and ROI. You will set and report on quarterly OKRs and consistently monitor KPIs. You will understand the competitive landscape, and draw insights from quantitative and qualitative research.


You will refine positioning, develop our brand and drive market awareness. You will implement and test high performing campaigns, and know when to double-down, pivot, or cut your losses. You will deftly move between data-driven analytics to narrative-driven storytelling.


You will engage third party vendors and hold them accountable to results and ROI.


The ideal candidate will have a passion for finance and technology, a global mindset and strong commercial acumen. This role reports to the CEO/CMO.


Your role & responsibilities


  • Lead and manage the global marketing team, spanning all marketing disciplines to create awareness, build preference and ultimately deliver growth. 
  • Recruit, onboard and mentor top talent while building a high-performance marketing organisation that embraces best in class practices and methodologies.
  • Constantly tie marketing goals to commercial goals, ensuring that all efforts are contributing to sustainable financial performance. 
  • Execute. You will roll up your sleeves, lead by example and get it done. 


Your skills and experience


  • 8+ years in high-performing marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a management position. Time spent in high-growth tech/fintech startups and scaleups is an advantage.
  • Proven track record of building multi-channel marketing campaigns that deliver quantifiable results.
  • You are a brand builder, experienced in working across varied touchpoints.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to work across a global team and manage cross-team collaboration.
  • Naturally curious and a fast learner, able to take ideas to reality. 
  • Fluency in English.
